Virtues Training Workshop (Self Assessment)

The purpose of virtue is the prevention of regret.

Virtues refer to personal characteristics of individuals that support individual moral excellence and collective well being. Your virtues represent your personal Organising Principles that help you to engage the world. While Values reflect what is acceptable in terms of culture. Virtues reflect individual characteristics. Values represent aspirational goals and virtues are the way to achieve them.

How do you live your virtues is an often asked question. When you are clear about what your virtues are and you face problems or challenges in your life, ask yourself; how would someone with the same virtues that you have engage the situation? And then act accordingly.

While it is not mentioned in the list of virtues in the assessment, one of your most important virtues should be to re-assess your virtues from time to time. Remember, it’s up to you. The personal virtues assessment works well when used as part of a organisational Values campaign and can also be used to identify job seekers. Please let us know if you want to use this assessment for your corporation.

You’re free to complete the self-assessment below. There is no obligation and there are no right or wrong answers. The system will email your feedback to you if you provide your email address.
