Storytelling is probably the world’s biggest industry. Radio, TV, newspapers, magazines, websites, books, pamphlets, advertising hoardings, blogs, annual reports, financial statements and invoices are some aspects of the incessant post modern chatter. Seems everyone is trying to tell a story. Your story has to stand out and be memorable among all the other stories out there and the ‘storytelling for change’ workshop is designed to achieve just this.
In this facilitated 1/2 day story circle, we focus on the story of your organisation – how it is told, who tells it, the media used, the audience, the images portrayed and how they may be updated to clearly articulate a compelling feel, mood and a vision of the future. The story circle approach allows diverse viewpoints to be expressed within the context of a safe space – this results in an expanded awareness of how organisational stories can be crafted, shared and told.
Come, listen, share and discover. This is a facilitated process and therefore the group dynamic creates the space which we navigate. It would be useful to come to the workshop with an idea of what you want out of the process.
